It is a hordy block made of styropor material with a self-extinguishing and anti-flammable feature and coated with a cement layer reinforced with polymers with a thickness of 2 mm protected by a private and exclusive patent of SAPCO
The polymer reinforced cement layer helps to facilitate the implementation of the slurry work as it helps the mud to adhere.
The Hordy fire-retardant block treated with mud , is used as an alternative to cement blocks in the ceilings and is available in all densities from 7 kg / m3 to 35 kg / m3
Light weight helps speed work.
Characteristics of the Hordy fire-retardant block treated with mud :
- Shock and vibration resistance
- Lightweight, easy to use and install
- Reducing the loads on the building by about 15-30% of the total weight, which leads to reducing costs in iron and cement used in construction.
- An effective moisture barrier because it has little water absorption
- It has an intermediate layer reinforced with polymers with a thickness of 2 mm to help the cement layer to adhere
- Anti-inflammatory when exposed to a direct or indirect source of ignition
- It does not produce any toxic gases when it is directly exposed to flame, so it is considered an environmentally friendly material
- -Mud works can be executed on the ceiling without the need for the use of a grid as the mud can easily stick to it
- The cement mixture used in processing this type of Hordy is protected by an official patent of the company and is exclusive to SABCO.
